This project analyzes the construction of Schwarz-Christoffel transformations and shows why they matter for fluid flow and electric potentials. The transformations were developed independently by Elwin Christoffel and Hermann Schwarz.
The piece is written as a survey of Schwarz-Christoffel transformations and is aimed at readers who have taken a first course in complex analysis. It remains a useful snapshot of the questions I was thinking through at the time.
